Same Day/ Urgent Appointments
If your problem is less than 48 hours old and needs medical advice on the day please call the surgery on 02392 550220.
The receptionist will ask for some basic information for the Urgent Care Team.
If you have central chest pain or extreme shortness of breath you will be advised by reception to call 999.
The clinic is not for patients with Ongoing or Long Term medical conditions.
Community Pharmacy Consultation Service
Some medical problems can dealt with by local pharmacies, who are able to treat minor illnesses.
If your problem is something that the pharmacist can help you with, you will asked if you are happy for a same-day referral to the pharmacy of your choice.

Routine Appointments
If you have a medical problem that is ongoing that you would like some advice or treatment please complete:
- an online eConsult,
- telephone the practice on 02392 550220 or
- pop in to reception.
If the clinician feels that they need to see you, they will organise a time with you to attend the practice.
Evening and Weekend Appointments
Some appointments may be with the Extended Hours Team.
The practice will notify you of the time and date that a clinician will call you. The times of the Extended Hours Team are from 6.30pm to 8.00pm Monday to Friday and Saturday Mornings.
The Extended Hours Team also offer services such as:
- Cervical Smears,
- Blood Tests
- Dressing Changes,
- please speak to reception about these appointments.
The service has locally-based healthcare professionals, GPs, nurse practioners, nurses and healthcare assistants. The staff can access your medical records, ensuring a high quality service.
Please note: the new extended opening hours is not a walk-in service – you need to make an appointment.
